Bob Stein
President and Chief Executive Officer

Bob joined KSS in October 2004 after three years as founder member of KSS’ Advisory Board. Prior to his appointment Bob consulted to the retail and convenience store industries. His experience includes eighteen years at Dairy Mart Convenience Stores Inc., where he held the post of Chairman, President and CEO, successfully applying his leadership experience in retail operations, marketing and finance.


Mark Hawtin
VP Business Development

Mark joined KSS as Head of Sales & Marketing in June 1997 and progressed through a number of commercial positions to become director of KSS' business development, new products and partner activities. Prior to KSS he spent eight years working for Simulation Sciences Inc., a Nasdaq quoted US optimization technology company as Sales Manager for Europe, Middle East and Africa.


Nicola Riley
Financial Controller

Nicola joined KSS as Financial Controller in 2004 and was promoted to the senior management team in 2007. Prior to joining KSS she trained in audit with BDO, Guernsey and Baker Tilly, London progressing to Audit Manager focusing on trading companies and internal audits.


Ray Corcoran
VP Development

Ray joined KSS in October 2000 as an implementation consultant after having spent time as an independent consultant to several large blue chip companies. After a successful period during which he managed a number of very large scale software implementations, two of which involved significant development and customization effort, Ray was promoted to take control of the PriceNet development group. Ray now has responsibility for the development function across all KSS products.


Ian Thompson
VP Professional Services

Ian had over 15 years of software and management experience with various blue-chip, global organizations before he joined KSS as a Client Manager in 2001.  After successfully managing numerous projects in EMEA, he moved to the New Jersey offices to become VP US Professional Services in 2004.  Ian now leads the Professional Services team which is responsible for implementing KSS's products globally and ensuring that clients are deriving maximum value post-implementation.


David McCaffrey
VP Research

David joined KSS in October 2004 and is responsible for the direction and delivery of the forecasting and optimization science underlying KSS fuel pricing systems. He is also responsible for the technical direction of the KSS RackPrice wholesale fuel pricing system, having led its development since inception. He has long experience of architecting and developing mathematical software applications within the oil & gas sector, having worked previously for Shell and Emerson Process Management. David holds a PhD and BSc in mathematics.


Tony Goodman
VP Sales

Tony joined KSS as European Sales Manager in December 2004 and was promoted in 2007 to be Vice President of Sales for EMEA. Tony has had a broad career prior to joining KSS including in senior positions in professional, commercial and software businesses, most recently as VP Sales, Northern Europe for Princeton Softech, Inc, a data management company, now part of IBM.


Alan Preston
VP North America Sales

Alan brings with him over 23 years of downstream petroleum experience and a strong track record of leveraging software and advanced application solutions to deliver business benefits to his customer base. This includes working in several roles at SAP, including downstream oil and gas industry principal for North America. Prior to that, Alan worked for Honeywell International where he held a variety of global positions in sales management, strategic corporate account management, business development, technical consulting, and product development.
