Florham Park, NJ – (Feb 24, 2005) – 7-Eleven, Inc. (NYSE:SE), the world’s largest convenience retailing chain, has selected KSS’ PriceNet to replace existing gasoline pricing software.
Headquartered in Dallas, Texas, and operating and franchising 2,432 gasoline stores in the United States and Canada, 7-Eleven signed an enterprise license agreement for PriceNet.
PriceNet technology assesses and supports different tactics and strategies to suit the characteristics of various geographical areas. The tool is highly configurable and can support better decision making whether using simple protocol-based pricing strategies or more advanced techniques.
Ron Williams, gasoline pricing manager at 7-Eleven, said, “PriceNet allows us to enhance our ability to price gasoline because of its detailed analysis of performance and market data. By using this software, we can better control volume and margin targets while providing competitively priced gasoline.”
