Circle K Stores selects KSS for fuel price automation

Largest subsidiary of Alimentation Couche-Tard to use KSS PriceNet to set daily fuel pump prices

FLORHAM PARK, N.J.–Aug. 14, 2006–KSS, the global leader in fuel pricing automation and optimization solutions, announced today that Circle K Stores, a subsidiary of Alimentation Couche-Tard, has selected the KSS PriceNet solution to automate the chain’s fuel pump pricing process. Terms were not disclosed.

Circle K, with more than 2,100 sites across the United States, will use KSS PriceNet to ensure that its fuel prices are strategically appropriate at all locations. KSS is the leading provider of store and fuel center price optimization solutions to the convenience, grocery and drug store industries.

KSS PriceNet is an intelligent fuel price management system with the ability to accurately track volume and competitive price moves in the market and manage fuel pump pricing, by grade of fuel and by location. Using the KSS library of consumer demand models, KSS PriceNet provides the basis for understanding and forecasting consumer fuel demand across each store and fuel center, as well as the inter-relationships of these purchases.
