KSS Strengthens Team with Industry Expert

Florham Park, NJ – 10th July 2008 – KSS, the global leading supplier of fuels pricing analytics, execution, and optimization systems to the oil & gas, convenience store, grocery and big-box retail industries, announced today the appointment of Alan Preston to the role of vice president sales, North America.


Alan comes to KSS from SAP, where he served as oil and gas client director for custom development for North America. His responsibilities at KSS will include leading and supporting the sales team in fulfilling the growing demand for KSS products and services in North America. He will report to Bob Stein, chief executive officer of KSS.


Bob Stein stated: “We are delighted that someone with Alan’s in-depth industry knowledge and experience selling high value software solutions within oil and gas has chosen to come and strengthen our already successful group. His experience in managing and motivating teams, combined with his market understanding, will be invaluable to the continued growth of our business.”


Alan brings with him over 23 years of downstream petroleum experience and a strong track record of leveraging software and advanced application solutions to deliver business benefits to his customer base. This includes working in several roles at SAP, including downstream oil and gas industry principal for North America. Prior to that, Alan worked for Honeywell International where he held a variety of global positions in sales management, strategic corporate account management, business development, technical consulting and product development.


The KSS North American sales team has doubled in size over the last ten months. Alan’s appointment reflects the company’s commitment to serving oil and gas wholesalers and retailers in North America.
