The Pre Sales Consultant is a key part of the sales team who will act as front line technical and business consulting support to the sales team and be intimately involved in sales cycles
Provide the principle technical liaison between the sales, professional services and technical teams within the territory
Undertake detailed analysis of key prospects, their business processes and the opportunities to use KSS products and services
Proactively develop relationships and opportunities with prospects.
Define job activities
Act as product and services expert to the sales team
Act as technical liaison with Professional Services, Research and Development departments
Act as technical expert in sales engagements
Undertake detailed analysis of Prospect as is and to be processes
Advise on interfacing requirments for implementation
Participate in preparation of RPIs/RFPs/Tenders etc.
Participate in preparation of proposals
Participate in sales engagements
Provide product demonstrations as appropriate
Ensure compliance with Company Sales processes

Skills/Education required
Educated to degree standard or relevant work experience, Business/Management/IT or Analytical subject preferred
Additional languages an advantage
Experience in Pre Sales/Consultancy/Business Analysis gained in a commercial software environment
Effective interpersonal skills including well developed oral and written communication skills
Strong relationship management skills and the ability to make C-level presentations
Strong time management skills and the ability to respond well to time pressures and deadlines
Extensive retail and pricing experience preferably in the Oil and Gas industry
It is essential that candidates are prepared to travel extensively (predominantly Europe, but also expanding into Latin America and Asia)
